Donna Silfies graduated from over 20 years of experience. She began her career at Overlook Hospital in Summit and then moved on to working in the schools for several years.
For more than 15 years, she has worked side by side with occupational therapists in a sensory based clinic setting.Donna has experience working with a wide array of pediatric speech and language disorders including apraxia, delayed language development, articulation, tongue thrust and feeding difficulties. She is certified in the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S) Feeding Program. She has completed multiple trainings focusing on the Kaufman Method for apraxia remediation and Talk Tools training for oral placement therapy. Donna has vast experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and a variety of learning disorders including processing deficits. She is licensed by the state of New Jersey and is an active member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
