Emily Zuidema, M.S.E.D. CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Emily Z is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with a Bachelor of Science from Towson University and a Master of Education from The College of Saint Rose. She is NLA-trained, LAMP certified, and currently working toward her Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification. Emily loves working in pediatrics because children bring joy, curiosity, and a fresh perspective to each day. They’ve taught her how to see the world more positively—and that it’s perfectly okay to be silly and a little messy. Emily is passionate about helping children find their voice—whether spoken, signed, or through technology. She believes that all children deserve a way to express themselves and be heard. Her favorite part of pediatric therapy is how much the children teach her in return: to see the world with optimism, embrace the messy moments, and celebrate every small win. Outside the clinic, Emily is a proud mom to a one-year-old, who enjoys camping, swimming in the lake and all things outdoors with her family!
