SENSORY INTEGRATION

The central idea of sensory integration therapy is to provide and control sensory input in such a way that the child spontaneously forms the adaptive responses that integrate these sensations.

AUGMENTATIVE & ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATION

At Springboard Pediatric Therapy Center, our clinicians assess clients for appropriate AAC systems to enhance their functional communication. Our therapists have experience with no-tech, low-tech, and high-tech AAC systems.

INTENSIVE THERAPY

Intensive Therapy consists of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and/or speech therapy treatments at a higher frequency and intensity. This includes 2-4 hours of total therapy per day, 5 times a week, for 2-3 weeks. This can be a wonderful opportunity to accelerate your child's progress with focused, high-frequency therapy.

Interactive Metronome is the most widely used program in the world for cognitive development and rehabilitation. Springboard therapists are certified in Interactive Metronome Therapy, which has been proven to produce significant physical and cognitive benefits including: motor control, coordination, sports performance, language processing, attention, focus, and social skills.

FEEDING THERAPY

At Springboard Pediatric Therapy, feeding is addressed through a developmental lens, with respect and fun at the center of every session. Our therapists are training in different feeding methods including S.O.S. Feeding Protocol.
