Trish O'Brien, M.S. OTR/L

Occupational Thearpist

Trish is the founder and owner of Springboard, and a seasoned occupational therapist with a passion for helping children thrive. She holds extensive training and certifications including SIPT, DIR/Floortime, STAR Institute mentorship, SOS Feeding, Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, The Listening Program, iLs, vestibular habilitation, Brain Gym, Handwriting Without Tears, and advanced coursework in reflex integration and praxis. Trish earned her degree in occupational therapy from Boston University’s Sargent College. She is continually inspired by the magic that unfolds in therapy—the “aha!” moments, the pride in a child’s voice when they say, “I can do this,” and the growing confidence that transforms their world. As a mentor and leader, Trish also finds deep fulfillment in supporting her team’s professional growth and watching them evolve into exceptional clinicians. Outside the clinic, Trish is all about fresh air, movement, and a little friendly competition. She enjoys trail running with her dog (especially in the rain!), rowing with Row New Jersey, skiing with her family, and exploring new places on annual adventures with her college best friends.

Julie Hersch, OTR/L, CIMC

Occupational Therapist

Julie is an occupational therapist with certifications in SOS Feeding, Infant Massage and the Safe and Sound Protocol. In addition Julie has completed DIR/Floortime (Level 101) Training. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson University, she brings both professional expertise and personal experience as a mother of three—including a child with autism, intellectual disability, and anxiety, and two with type 1 diabetes. Julie thrives on movement, connection, and creativity, having founded inclusive swim and motor skills classes, as well as a special needs girls’ running team. She and her husband also formed and coached a marathon team, raising awareness and funds for diabetes, through four full marathons and more than seven half-marathons. Julie is passionate about helping every child reach their happiest, most confident self. Soon to be a first-time grandma, she lives by the motto: “If you can dream it, you can do it!”

Caitie Alaimo, M.S. OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Caitie is an occupational therapist with a Master of Occupational Therapy from Delaware State University and a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Substance Abuse Prevention and Education from James Madison University. She has completed specialized trainings in DIR/Floortime (Level 101), Interoception, the Zones of Regulation and Superflex Curriculums, Astronaut Training Protocol, and Practical Sense in Sensory Integration. Caitie believes that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, explore, and thrive in their own unique way. She finds deep joy in helping children build the skills they need to participate in everyday activities—whether it’s playing, learning, or taking care of themselves—and she values partnering with families to celebrate every small success. Outside the clinic, Caitie enjoys hot yoga, Pilates, paddle boarding, hiking, relaxing at the beach, and traveling to spend time with friends and family.

Angie Vigliotti, M.S. OTR/L, CBIS

Occupational Therapist

Angie, is an occupational therapist and Certified Brain Injury Specialist with a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University. Angie has also completed DIR/Floortime (Level 101) Training. Passionate about helping children discover their inner strength, resilience, and potential, Angie believes in the power of small steps to create meaningful progress. She incorporates play into every session to inspire curiosity, encourage exploration, and support learning through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Outside of her clinical work, Angie is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor who integrates mindfulness and movement into her daily life. She enjoys traveling with her husband and their dog, Louie, and has recently begun exploring the art of ceramics!

Sandra Sargie, M.S. OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Sandra is an occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Seton Hall University. She holds certifications as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) and a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS). In addition Sandra has completed DIR/Floortime (Level 101) training. Sandra is passionate about helping children feel confident and comfortable in their own bodies, and she finds deep fulfillment in supporting their growth and development alongside their families. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, going to the gym, spending time with her puppy, and indulging in ice cream!

Deanna Lindberg, M.S. OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Deanna is an occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Philosophy, with a minor in Biology, from the University of Scranton. She is trained in DIR/Floortime (Level 101), and is currently completing Level 201, the Integrated Listening System (iLs) Focus Program, and is a Certified Fieldwork Educator (CFWE). Deanna has completed courses in interoceptive awareness, sensory integration, and reflex integration, and is currently working toward CLASI certification. She is passionate about helping families understand their children in new ways and build stronger connections. A puzzle enthusiast at heart, Deanna loves piecing things together—whether it’s a 1,000-piece jigsaw or the unique strengths and needs of each child she works with!

Reema Trivedi, M.S. OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Reema, is an occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Clarkson University and a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Oneonta. She has completed DIR/Floortime (Level 101) training as well as Practical Sense in Sensory Integration Levels 1–3. Reema chose a career in occupational therapy because of her passion for play and her love for working with children. She finds joy in helping kids build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections through therapeutic play. Reema values the fun, collaborative environment at Springboard and is grateful to be part of a team that shares her commitment to supporting children and families. Outside of work, Reema enjoys reading, practicing yoga, hiking, cooking, spending time with loved ones, and playing with her dog.

Mackie Goodwin, M.S. OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Mackie is an occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science from Marywood University. She is trained in DIR/Floortime (Level 101) and certified in The Listening Program (TLP). Mackie was first inspired to pursue occupational therapy when her sister began receiving early intervention—she was captivated by the therapist who showed up with the coolest toys and made a real difference. That early impression stayed with her, and today she feels grateful to support children and families just like hers. Her sister continues to be her greatest source of inspiration. Outside of work, Mackie enjoys playing volleyball, relaxing at the beach, and traveling—especially to England. She also shares her home with two beloved black cats!

Dr. Ariel Lontoc, OTD, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Dr. Ariel is an occupational therapist with a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and a Bachelor of Arts from CUNY College of Staten Island. Inspired by the resilience of children, and by the personal influence of her sister and niece, Dr. Ariel found her passion in pediatric therapy. She is continually inspired by the strength and spirit kids bring to the therapeutic journey. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Ariel loves to sing, especially at karaoke nights, and finds joy in relaxing at coffee shops with a good book in hand!

Maria Freeman, M.S. OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Maria is an occupational therapist with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Hofstra University. She has completed specialized training in DIR/Floortime (Level 101) and Therapeutic Listening.

Now a proud mom to a baby girl, Maria’s new and most important role has given her a deeper, more personal perspective on child development. Watching her daughter grow—and navigating the unexpected moments along the way—has strengthened her empathy and fueled her passion for supporting families through every stage of their journey. She is dedicated to helping children build the foundational skills they need to thrive while also empowering caregivers along the way. Maria’s work is guided by the belief that connection is at the heart of progress. One of her favorite quotes, from Patch Adams, captures this perfectly: “You treat a disease: you win, you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you win—no matter what the outcome.”

Michele Linfante, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Michelle is an occupational therapist with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University and an M.S. in Complementary and Alternative Medicine from the American College of Health Sciences. She brings extensive specialized training in SOS Feeding, the Wilbarger Brushing Protocol, Making Sense in Sensory Integration, The Listening Program, Reflex Integration, Interactive Metronome, Zones of Regulation, S’cool Moves, Handwriting Without Tears, Developmental Vision and Optometric Rehabilitation, Neuro-Yoga, Pediatric Pelvic Floor Therapy, and Cranial Sacral Therapy. Outside of the clinic, Michelle enjoys traveling and going on adventures with her two children, gardening, reading, and being an active volunteer in her community. Michelle believes that “every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden.”

Melissa Teresco, M.S. OTR/L, M.Ed

Occupational Therapist

Melissa is a pediatric occupational therapist who earned both her Bachelor of Science in Occupational and Health Sciences and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy through the accelerated program at the University of Scranton. She is trained in DIR/Floortime, Zones of Regulation, Brain Gym, and is certified in Handwriting Without Tears, Learning Without Tears, and Keyboarding Without Tears. Melissa is passionate about building strong connections with the children and families she works with. She believes that meaningful progress is rooted in the small moments—trying something new, achieving a tiny goal, or simply sharing a smile. These everyday wins build the foundation for lasting growth, and she feels honored to be part of each step. Outside of work, Melissa loves spending time with her rescue pup, Hope, and enjoying the simple joys of life with family and friends.

Laura Cursi, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Laura is an occupational therapist with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Delaware State University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island. She is certified in the Feeders and Growers program for picky eaters, supporting children with feeding challenges through playful and evidence-based approaches. With a background in dance and volleyball, Laura brings energy, creativity, and a love of movement into her sessions. She chose pediatric OT because working with children brings her joy and purpose. She enjoys using play and connection to support each child’s unique development.

Laura is especially inspired by the small but meaningful victories—whether it’s tying a shoe, staying regulated through a session, or making a new friend. Helping kids thrive while having fun is what makes her work so rewarding.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys exploring new places, traveling, and staying active.

Emily Ryan, M.S. OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Emily is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a Master’s degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and certification in LSVT BIG therapy. Since discovering the field in high school, she has found her calling in helping individuals of all ages—from 0 to 100—recognize their strengths while encouraging them to live to their fullest potential. With a passion for lifelong learning and personal growth, Emily brings empathy, expertise, and enthusiasm to every stage of care. Outside of work, Emily is an avid reader (often finishing 70+ books a year), a lifelong piano player, and a proud mom and aunt to seven. Her love of learning and connection fuels both her professional and personal life!

Tonya Tasso, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Tonya is a Board Certified Occupational Therapist with an M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Dominican College, a B.A. in Psychology from Caldwell College, and an A.A. in Elementary Education. She holds specialized training in Brain Gym, DIR/Floortime, How Does Your Engine Run, Neurodevelopmental Optometric Rehabilitation, Therapeutic Yoga, executive functioning, adaptive dance, and is a Level I Certified Handwriting Specialist through Handwriting Without Tears. Tonya is passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with the families she supports. The most meaningful part of her work is the in-the-moment problem solving—modifying tasks and guiding children in developing the confidence and skills they need to succeed in everyday life. Outside of the clinic, Tonya enjoys nature walks, cooking, crafting, and spending time with her husband and two children. She finds joy in both motherhood and occupational therapy, especially the creativity and flexibility each role demands.

Jordan Cohen, M.S. OTR

Occupational Therapist

Jordan, is an occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, both from Kean University. Before officially joining the Springboard team, Jordan spent time volunteering at the clinic—an experience that sparked his passion for pediatric therapy and made the transition into his role feel like a perfect fit. Jordan loves working in pediatrics because, in his words, “kids are the best!” He brings creativity and energy into every session, using play-based and non-traditional approaches to help children develop the tools and skills they need to thrive in daily life. Jordan especially enjoys making therapy fun while working toward meaningful, functional goals. Outside of the clinic, Jordan stays active through swimming, golf, and playing guitar. He also values quality time with his twin, family, and friends.
