Amanda loves seeing children notice their own progress — whether it's activating their first request on AAC and getting their needs met, finally conquering a difficult sound they've been working on for months, or learning a new word and using it all the time. She believes every child deserves to feel successful, and loves being part of the team that helps them get there. Amanda earned her M.Sc. in Speech Sciences from the University of British Columbia and her M.A. in Psychology from Boston University. Having worked in many different settings throughout her career, she feels lucky to have landed at Springboard, which she considers the best environment yet. Outside of work, Amanda loves hiking, cats, and writing.
