Trish O'Brien, M.S. OTR/L
Founder, Occupational Therapist
Trish is the founder and owner of Springboard, and a seasoned occupational therapist with a passion for helping children thrive. She holds extensive training and certifications including SIPT, DIR/Floortime, STAR Institute mentorship, SOS Feeding, Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, The Listening Program, iLs, vestibular habilitation, Brain Gym, Handwriting Without Tears, and advanced coursework in reflex integration and praxis. Trish earned her degree in occupational therapy from Boston University’s Sargent College. She is continually inspired by the magic that unfolds in therapy—the “aha!” moments, the pride in a child’s voice when they say, “I can do this,” and the growing confidence that transforms their world. As a mentor and leader, Trish also finds deep fulfillment in supporting her team’s professional growth and watching them evolve into exceptional clinicians. Outside the clinic, Trish is all about fresh air, movement, and a little friendly competition. She enjoys trail running with her dog (especially in the rain!), rowing with Row New Jersey, skiing with her family, and exploring new places on annual adventures with her college best friends.
